MAP01

Why Choose This Module?

This short, fully funded course is ideal for those who want to grow their understanding of the construction sector and learn how digital technologies like Building Information Modelling (BIM) are transforming how projects are planned, managed and delivered.

The MAP01 module is perfect for learners who want to test the waters before progressing onto a full qualification or higher-level apprenticeship – offering a recognised credit that can contribute towards future study.

Benefits to Employers:

Employers who support staff through this MAP module gain a more digitally confident workforce with an increased awareness of sector standards, safety practices, and emerging technologies.

Employees trained in digital modelling, project documentation and sector-specific software tools are better equipped to drive productivity, collaborate on projects and adopt sustainable construction methods.

Career Progression Opportunities

This MAP module is a stepping stone to a wide range of progression options, including:

  • Further MAP modules leading to a full Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ)
  • HNC or HND qualifications in construction
  • Higher or degree apprenticeships in construction or design
